Carl Sauter Omega 220
We currently have this Carl Sauter semi-concert grand piano
on the floor in high-polish ebony, instead of the burled
walnut pictured below. It comes with an extra register for contemporary compositions laid out on the soundboard below the harmonic points on the strings.
This semi concert grand piano is dynamic and powerful, while it is still sensitive and charming. The soundboard, made from the finest European spruce, facilitates rich variations in sound. The Omega is very responsive and will reward the disciplined pianist with exquisite control of the sound produced.

The photo above shows the extra register intended for contemporary piano music. The damper heads are marked white for all the natural keys to assist finding the correct strings. You will see lines marked out on the soundboard showing the ideal harmonic points at which to pluck the strings. The music desk has convenient one-handed controls for increased reliability and ease-of-use.
This piano was selected by several recording artists for their recording
