New
to the Laredo community, Music
Together® is an internationally recognized music
and movement approach to early childhood music development for
infants, toddlers, preschool and kindergarten children aged 0 -
5 and their parents, teachers and other primary caregivers.
Music Together®was
developed by the Center for Music and Young Children (CMYC) in
Princeton, NJ in 1987. CMYC pioneered the concept of a
research-based, developmentally-appropriate early childhood
music curriculum that emphasizes and facilitates adult
involvement. Classes are offered throughout the United States
and four other countries. You can also find more details on the
web at MusicTogether.com
Music Together® song collections include fun, simple
yet musically interesting songs, rhythmic chants and play-alongs,
both traditional and original that appeal to adults as well as
children. Songbooks include notes on early childhood music
development plus many home activity suggestions and
illustrations. Each family who enrolls will receive a songbook,
CD and tape to support music play at home. First-time families
also get a guide called “Music and Your Child” to help
explain important concepts and steppingstones in this beautiful
and miraculous process.

Our Fall semester starts in
August and ends in early December.
We meet weekly for a
45 minute class. Classes are made up of 6 to 12 children and
parents or caregivers. Together we will find fun, playful ways
to focus on melody and rhythm, body awareness and movement,
expressive dance, instrument play and improvisation.
Call early to reserve your spot in class. Classes are limited to
12 children, and families must register to attend. See our Schedule
of classes and choose one that suits your family.
Call Rebeca at
(956)728-7224 to register.
Looking forward to making music
together with you this Fall!!
